AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH KLF ENTERPRISES, INC., FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF SAND, GRAVEL, STONE AND RELATED MATERIALS

It is recommended that an order be entered authorizing the General Superintendent or her designee to enter into a contract with KLF Enterprises, Inc. for the Supply and Delivery of Sand, Gravel, Stone and Related Materials. No work may commence and no payment shall be made prior to the execution of a written agreement.
II. Award Information
Contractor: K.L.F. Enterprises, Inc.
Company Type: Business Corporation
Majority Interest: James W. Bracken (100%)
Contract Period: Two (2) year initial term with three (3) additional one (1) year extension options. If the extension options are exercised, funding shall be based upon annual appropriations.
Contract Amount: Not-to-exceed $400,000.00 for the initial contract term.
Expenditures for services under each extension term will be authorized by annual appropriation and subject to each year's budget. DUR Contract
Affirmative Action
Goals: The Minority-and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation for this contract include: 25% MBE and 5% WBE.
Scope of Services: The Awardee shall provide all equipment, fuel, labor, materials, transportation, trucks, vehicles and any/all other services necessary to supply and delivery sand, gravel, stone and related materials to locations throughout the CPD.
Authorization: Authorize the General Counsel to include other relevant terms and conditions in the written Agreement. Authorize the General Superintendent to execute the Agreement and the Secretary to attest as to the signing of the Agreement and keep an original copy of the Agreement on file.
