To the Honorable Board of Commissioners of the Chicago Park District

I. Recommendation

Pursuant to Chapter XI, Section D, 7 of the Code of the Chicago Park District and the recommendation of the Director of Information Technology, the Director of Purchasing recommends that an order be entered authorizing the General Superintendent and CEO or his designee to continue participation in the City of Chicago contract with Unisys Corporation ("Unisys") for Outsourced Managed Information Technology Services.

Contract Period: One (1) year.

Contract Amount: Not-to-exceed $2,480,000.00.

Scope of Services: Outsourced managed information technology services includes: providing remote help desk call-center services; asset management configuration, repair, and deployment services; program and project management services; remote and on-site network management services; application and database software support services; engineering services associated with network deployment; PC relocation services; and hardware purchases.

Action Goals: The Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation for this contract include: 25% minority owned and 5% women owned.


Authorization: Authorize the General Superintendent to execute the amendment and such agreements as are necessary to carry out the purposes stated herein and the Secretary to attest as to the signing of such amendment and agreements and keep an original copy of such agreements on file.
