I. Recommendation
It is recommended that the General Superintendent and CEO or his designee enter into a contract with Moore Landscapes, Inc. for the maintenance of the 606 multiuse trail system. The contractor was selected pursuant to a publicly advertised Request for Proposals. No work may commence and no payment shall be made to the contractor prior to the execution of a written agreement.

Contract Term: Two (2) year initial term with three (3) one-year extension

Contract Amount: Maintenance services includes work that will be performed on regular ongoing basis and work that is variable which will be performed on an as needed basis, and the amount expended for all of this work will not exceed $2,000,000.00 for the initial two (2) year term or $1,000,000.00 annually. If extension options are exercised, funding shall be based upon available annual appropriations.
Scope of Services: To keep the 606 in a clean, well-groomed, aesthetically pleasing and well maintained state with healthy, vigorous, thriving plantings at all times. The work comprises two categories: landscape maintenance services and general maintenance services.
The category of landscape maintenance services includes seasonal and ongoing maintenance of landscape elements, including planting beds and plant material, trees, shrubs, groundcover, vines, perennials, ornamental grasses, native herbaceous plantings and turf, and sod.
