I. Recommendation

It is recommended that an order be entered authorizing the General Superintendent and CEO or his designee to enter into a contract with Aramark Management Services, LP for Avian Wildlife Management Services. The contractor was selected pursuant to a publicly advertised Request for Proposals. No work may commence and no payment shall be made to vendor prior to the execution of a written agreement.

Scope of Services: To have experienced handlers bring trained border collies to the beaches at 57th Street and 63rd Street seven days a week from sunrise to sunset, weather permitting, in an effort to harass the birds and keep them away from these beaches. These services may be provided at other locations as requested by the CPD.
