I. Recommendation

Pursuant to the Chicago Park District Code, Chapter 11, Section D.7(a)(i), it is recommended that an order be entered authorizing the General Superintendent and CEO or his designee to enter into a cooperative purchasing agreement with Cook County Solutions and Insight Public Sector Inc. (Contract No. 1830-17423A) for the purchase of Office Technology Products and Related Services.

Contract Term: Four (4) year initial term with three (3), one-year extension options

Contract Amount: Not-to-exceed $2,500,000 for the initial contract term. If extension options are exercised, the annual not-to-exceed amount shall be $500,000 for each extension year.


Scope of Services: Office technology products (e.g. laptop and desktop computers, peripherals, mobile devices, and audio/video equipment) as well as related professional services.

Action Goals: M/WBE participation in this agreement will include 25% MBE and 5% WBE participation.

Authorization: Authorize the General Counsel to include other relevant terms and conditions in the written Agreement. Authorize the General Superintendent to execute the Agreement and the Secretary to attest as to the signing of the Agreement and keep an original copy of the Agreement on file.
