BOND ISSUE NOTIFICATION ACT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please take notice that the Chicago Park District (the “District”) will hold a public hearing before the Board of Commissioners of the District on February 19, 2020, at 11:20 a.m. The hearing will be held at Warren (Laurence) Park, 6601 North Western Avenue, in the City of Chicago, Illinois. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the proposal to sell general obligation limited tax bonds of the District, in one or more series, in the amount of not to exceed $40,000,000 for the purpose of financing capital improvements for the payment of land condemned or purchased for parks, for the building, maintaining, improving and protecting of the same and the existing facilities of the District, for the refunding of bond anticipation notes of the District issued in anticipation of the issuance of the bonds and for the payment of expenses incident in the issuance of the bonds, all as enumerated in Section 20 of the Chicago Park District Act.
