I. Recommendation
This is to certify that Friedler Construction Company on September 9, 2015 completed in a satisfactory manner and in full compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract, all work in connection with the ADA Transition Plans at Independence, Rutherford Sayre, and Shabbona Parks. The inspector approving final payment is Michael Fus.
It is therefore recommended that an order be approved for Final Payment in favor of Robe, Inc. in the amount of $72,704.12.

IV. Explanation
The Scope of Services for this project included accessibility improvements at three park sites: Independence, Rutherford Sayre, and Shabbona Parks.
At Independence, work included installation of a new elevator, reconstruction of the west porch including removal of a deteriorated ComEd substation below the old porch and installation of new pole-mounted electrical transformers; new doors, hardware, signage, drinking fountains, new lockers and benches, companion restroom, path improvements, exterior benches, and accessible parking.
At Rutherford Sayre, work included construction of a new low-slope accessible route from grade level to the main porch and fieldhouse entrance and accessible parking. Additional improvements included selective tuck pointing repairs to the Fieldhouse.
At Shabbona, work included new accessible parking, installation of a new elevator, replacement of all lockers and benches, electrical and mechanical improvements, replacement of the Lobby reception desk, expansion of the Fitness Room, repairs to the existing exterior ramp at the main entrance, and construction of a new interior basement ramp creating an improved accessible route between the elevator, locker rooms and pool.
