To The Honorable Board of Commissioners of the Chicago Park District:

I. Recommendation

Pursuant to Chapter XI, Section D, 7 of the Code of the Chicago Park District, it is recommended that an order be entered authorizing the General Superintendent and CEO or his designee to participate in the Insight Public Sector, Inc. contract with U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance for the purchase and implementation of a Cloud based learning management system. No work may commence and no payment shall be made to vendor prior to the execution of a written agreement.

II. Award Information

Contractor: Insight Public Sector, Inc.

Majority Interests: No single shareholder owns more than 7.5% of the outstanding shares.

Contract Period: May 1, 2009 through April 30, 2013 with three (3) additional one (1) year extension options or any combination. The contract was extended through April 30, 2016.

Contract Amount: One-time $239,967.00 for installation and training, and $59,976.00 for an annual license which will be funded from subsequent years' operating funds.

Scope of Services: The purchase of a cloud based learning management system to manage all aspects of CPD staff education and training including administration, management, tracking and delivery.

Goals: Minority and women owned business enterprise participation for this contract has been waived.

Authorization: Authorize the General Counsel to include other relevant terms and conditions in the written Agreement. Authorize the General Superintendent to execute the Agreement and the Secretary to attest as to the signing of the Agreement and keep an original copy of the Agreement on file.
