IV. Explanation
The Scope of Services for this project included environmental site remediation of a former Chicago Housing Authority property, and enrollment into the Illinois Site Remediation Program (S.R.P.) for acceptance of clean fill and the obtainment of a No Further Remediation Letter (N.F.R.). The new park creates a passive green space complete with asphalt walking paths, lighting, ornamental iron fencing, drinking fountain, sod and trees.
Final payment was being held pending receipt of all required project close-out documents.
