I. Recommendation
It is recommended that the General Superintendent & CEO or the designee enter into individual contracts with Guidehouse Consultants to support the Park District is developing a new comprehensive strategic plan. Six (6) firms submitted proposals for review and evaluation. The firms were selected pursuant to a publicly advertised Request for Proposal (RFP). An "Evaluation Committee" was established and four review meetings and two scoring rounds were completed. Presentations were held with the top three firms in the first scoring round. A second and final round of scoring was completed post presentations.

Contract Term: One (1) Year with an additional one (1) year extension option.
Contract Amount: $500,000.00
Scope of Services: The Chicago Park District seeks a consultant team to prepare a three to five-year strategic plan in consultation with staff, Commissioners, patrons, customers, communities, and additional stakeholders. The plan will provide mission, vision and values for CPD, along with immediate and long-term goals and a roadmap for implementation and accountability.

Action Goals: The Minority and Women-Owned Participation for this contract includes 25% Minority -Owned and 10% Women-Owned.
Authorization: Authorize the General Counsel to include other relevant terms and conditions in the written Agreement. Authorize the General Superintendent to execute the Agreement and the Secretary to attest as to the signing of the Agreement and keep an original copy of the Agreement on file.
