I. Recommendation
Pursuant to Chapter XI, Section C.3.a of the Code of the Chicago Park District, the Director of Purchasing and the Director of Cultural and Natural Resources recommend that the Board of Commissioners of the Chicago Park District ("Board") enter an order authorizing the General Superintendent or their designee to exercise the first one (1) year extension option on the contract with Flood Brothers Disposal Co. for waste collection, disposal, and recycling services district-wide, Specification No. P-24005.

Three options to extend for additional one-year terms will be remaining. If the first extension option is exercised, funding shall be subject to annual appropriations.
Contract Amount: Not to exceed $3,828,000 for the initial one-year term; not to exceed $3,828,000 for the first one-year extension. DUR (depends upon requirements) contract. Expenditures for services remain subject to annual appropriations and each year's budget.
