To the Honorable Board of Commissioners of the Chicago Park District:

I. Recommendation

It is recommended that an order be entered authorizing the General Superintendent and CEO or her designee to participate in the City of Chicago contract 222388 dated June 27, 2023 with Electronic Knowledge Interchange ("EKI") for the application development, management, and support of the Chicago Park District's Web-based Collaboration System. Pursuant to Chapter XI, Section D.7(a)(i) of the Code of the Chicago Park District ("CPD"), the Director of Purchasing may participate in another governmental entity's contract when doing so is in the best interest of the CPD.


II. Award Information

Contract Period: This contract between the Chicago Park District and EKI will be co-terminus with the City's Professional Services Agreement (contract 222388) with EKI which expires on July 31, 2027.

Contract Amount: Not-to-Exceed $1,200,000 for the full term of the contract.

Scope of Services: Contractor will be responsible for the design, integration, configuration, implementation, maintenance, and support of the CPD's existing Web-based Collaboration System including Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Applications, and Microsoft Power BI (Business Intelligence).
