To the Honorable Board of Commissioners of Chicago Park District:

I. Recommendation

Pursuant to the Joint Purchasing Agreement between the Chicago Park District ("CPD") and the City of Chicago ("City") and the recommendation from the Director of Facility Management, the Director of Purchasing recommends that the General Superintendent and CEO or his designee approve this request for the purchase of new Cab/Chassis Trucks with Aerial Platforms, Derricks, Buckets, Augers and Service Bodies, for district wide use from City Contract #177120, (SPEC# 1191565) with Patson Inc. d/b/a Transchicago Truck Group, in the amount not to exceed $3,000,000.

Contract Period: Two (2) Years, with 1 one (1) year extension options or DUR with City of Chicago extensions.

Scope of Services: Purchase of new Cab/Chassis Trucks with Aerial Platforms, Derricks, Buckets, Augers and Service Bodies, for district wide use.

Affirmative Action
Goals: The Minority and Women Owned Participation for this contract include: Good Faith Efforts with the City of Chicago, as well as Good Faith efforts with the Chicago Park District.

Authorization: Authorize the General Counsel to include other relevant terms and conditions in the written Agreement. Authorize the General Superintendent to execute the Agreement and the Secretary to attest as to the signing of the Agreement and keep an original copy of the Agreement on file.
