I. Recommendation

Pursuant to the Joint Purchasing Agreement between the Chicago Park District ("CPD") and the U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance ("USC"), it is recommended that the General Superintendent and CEO or their designee enter into a contract with Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation ("Herc") for the supply and delivery of rental of small and large equipment for District Wide Use from USC Contract, #USC-001, in the amount not to exceed $2,500,000.

Contract Period: Two (2) Years with one two (2) year extension option.

Contract Amount: Not-to-exceed $2,500,000.00 and is a DUR Contract.

25% MBE participation and 5% WBE participation.

Scope of Services: Supply and Delivery of Rental of Small and Large Equipment for District wide use.

Authorization: Authorize the General Counsel to include other relevant terms and conditions in the written Agreement. Authorize the General Superintendent to execute the Agreement and the Secretary to attest as to the signing of the Agreement and keep an original copy of the Agreement on file.
