I. Recommendation
Pursuant to Chapter XI, Section C.3.a of the Code of the Chicago Park District, the Director of Purchasing and the Director of Facility Management recommend that the Board of Commissioners of the Chicago Park District ("Board") authorize the General Superintendent or their designee to exercise the third one-year contract extension options with each of J.P. Simons & Co. and Midco Electric Supply, Inc. for the supply and delivery of electrical supplies, Specification No. P-23004.

Contract Amount: Not to exceed $4,967,757.45 in the aggregate for the initial contract terms (see below for amounts by category). Expenditures for services under each extension term will be authorized by annual appropriation and subject to each year's budget. These are DUR (depends upon requirements) contracts.
