I. Recommendation
It is recommended that an order be entered authorizing the General Superintendent or her designee to enter into a contract with AGAE Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $4,094,000.00. The contractor was selected pursuant to a Request for Proposal (RFP). No work may commence, and no payment shall be made to contractor prior to the execution of a written agreement.

Scope of Services: A new fully inclusive 21,000 square-foot playground at the east end of the Midway Plaisance that integrates elements of nature play, drainage improvements to the informal recreation lawn, and gardens. Other park improvements include restoration of the historic Cheney-Goode Memorial and associated project utility work. The General Contractor's work includes, but is not limited to: demolition and removals, concrete, stone masonry restoration, equipment, site furnishings, electrical, earthwork, utilities and exterior improvements.
